Second Square #5 at Carreau du Temple

I am excited to be taking part in the event Second Square #5 at Carreau du Temple in the third arrondissement on the 27 and 28th February. Come along to join in some of the many exciting workshops, demonstrations and shows, to see some of my creations and take part is a small atelier I will be running.

Je suis très heureux de participer à l’événement Second Square #5 au Carreau du Temple dans le 3ème arrondissement le 27 et le 28 Février. Venez découvrir des nombreux ateliers, démonstrations, et spectacles passionnants, pour voir certaines de mes créations et pour participer à un petit atelier que j’organise.

From the 24th February there will be workshops and events for children taking place, but for these, you need to sign up in advance. These ateliers include making sculptures with recycled objects, learning how the internet works, a cartoon dubbing workshop, scientific objects and experiments, and more.

À partir du 24 Février, il y aura des ateliers et des animations pour les enfants, mais pour cela, vous devez vous inscrire à l’avance. Il y aura des ateliers sur la fabrication des sculptures avec des objets recyclés, comment fonctionne l’internet, la création d’objets et d’expériences scientifiques, et bien plus encore.

On the 27th and 28th, there will be even more events and demonstrations going on, and for all ages. As well as more ateliers (stamping, making paper flowers, making pouches out of canvas…), there will be video games, demonstrations, music and performances. Everything is free and open to the public, so there is no reason not to come along and join the fun.

Le 27 et le 28, il y aura encore plus d’événements et de démonstrations en cours, et pour tous les âges. Ainsi que plusieurs ateliers (stamping, des fleurs en papier, fabrication de pochettes en toile enduite…), il y aura des jeux vidéo, des démonstrations, de la musique et des spectacles. Tout est gratuit et en accès libre, donc il n’y a aucune raison de ne pas venir nous rejoindre.

I will have a stand to display some of my creations, and will be running a workshop with the challenge How many things can we make from a recycled book?

J’aurai un stand pour exposer certaines de mes créations, et je mène également un atelier avec le challenge Combien d’objets différents peut on fabriquer avec un livre recyclé?

Come along to my stand to make jewellery, flowers, decorations, garlands, greetings cards, artwork and more, all from a recycled book. These ideas work equally well with newspapers and magazines if you don’t have an unwanted book or don’t want to destroy one! I would love to teach you how to make some of things below, hear some of your ideas, and maybe even come up with some new ones together.

Venez à mon stand pour fabriquer des bijoux, fleurs, décorations, guirlandes, cartes de voeux, œuvres d’art et encore plus, à partir d’un livre recyclé. Ces idées marche aussi bien avec des journaux ou des magazines si vous ne disposez pas d’un livre non désirée ou ne voulez pas en détruire ! Je serais ravi de vous apprendre à faire certains des objets ci-dessous, d’entendre vos propres idées, et peut-être même de trouver des nouvelles idées ensemble.
