Paris en Rose at the Bon Coin apartment
Last Sunday I held a DIY workshop, demonstrating various craft projects using old books and other recycled paper at the Bon coin apartment. I am really pleased to be part of the many activities taking place in this temporary apartment entirely furnished with objects found on the Le Bon Coin website. I am also holding a workshop in the apartment on the 12th November.
The Bon Coin apartment is a temporary installation, from the 28th October to the 19th November 2016, which is located on rue Française in Paris. It is a welcoming, homely atmosphere, furnished entirely from the Bon Coin website. You can visit to have a cup of coffee, check out the objects on display – all of the furniture and decorative items will be for sale at the closing of the apartment on the 19th November – or to participate in some of the many proposed activities.
Several craft workshops have been organised in the apartment by Oui are Makers, including a plant pot made from an old book, a clock made from children’s toys, and a macramé plant holder. On the 12th November, there will also be a workshop with Paris en Rose on making your own hand bound notebook with recycled paper.
Thank you to everyone who came on the 30th October for the recycled paper DIY demonstration. We crafted Christmas decorations, paper gift bags, baskets made of recycled books, and much more! Here are some instruction sheets for those of you who would like to try some of these projects at home.
